Moving Elements

Originally the moving elements were the glass dome and the sheet of glass. However, in Lumion these features were not able to be moved. So to illustrate what would have occurred t a certain degree two new moving elements were created illustrating how how and where the pieces would move.

5 Captures of Final Lumion Environment
This is a view of the gallery space and joining bridge. Students, guests and staff are able to view works, while gaining insight into theories. The front wall is glass as I wanted the gallery to have a shared feel. On goers could view in and those inside out.
The school is spread out over four buildings in campus. Each building has a bridge leading to the next. Gallery and Workshop - NIDA as it produces and exhibits works, also allowing for creativity to flourish. Library and research- SQUAREHOUSE a place where new technologies is tested, where students learn to read digital machinery and computers. Lecture and studio - ROUNDHOUSE provides a balance between fun and academia, as well as this the dome placed on top is supposed to be a moving element. When dry the dome lifts up so that fresh and students can be surrounded by the natural. Offices and meeting spaces - SCIENCE usually analytical events occur here, some thing of problem solving though and reason.
The tallest structure in my school is the library and research centre as "reading"has high importance and is something that caries many variations. Usually associated with books, however relaying back to my theory maybe computers have taught us to read differently.

Computation Design Theory - Combining the natural and the digital
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which represents mainstream scientific opinion, said that it was extremely likely that climate change is the product of human activity. A naturalistic observation, no longer seriously disputed is that humans are the main agents.
Technology codes our minds, This creates a new design space; creating new aesthetic and tactile experiences, industrial processes, buildings and other smaller projects.
How exactly does the technology we use to read change the way we read?
As digital texts and technologies become more prevalent, change to human activity increases because people can create thousands of designs without them having to be created individually in modelling software. Today's so-called digital natives still interact with a mix of paper magazines and books, as well as tablets, smartphones and e-readers; using one kind of technology does not preclude them from understanding another. However, humans still demand some sort of interaction with the natural as does design.
